Who we are
International Immo Consulting operates the website internationalimmoconsulting.com. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through this Site, why, how long we keep it, who can access it, and what your rights are.
Data we collect
We only collect data you voluntarily provide through the Site's forms, plus a small amount of automatic technical information:
- Contact, quote request, service request, appointment booking: name, email address, phone number, message; the page you contacted us from and your IP address are also recorded, for security and abuse prevention.
- Quote request ("Request a Quote" window): the information you enter is sent to our team via WhatsApp when you click to send your request — it then passes through the WhatsApp/Meta services under their own policy.
- Real-estate program pre-registration forms (e.g. Mendo Zé Estate): name, email, country and city of residence, phone, WhatsApp number, desired construction city, chosen property type, and any documents you choose to send us: copy of ID or passport, ID photo, land plan or location, copy of land title.
- Newsletter: your email address only.
- Reviews (testimonials): your name, your rating, the content of your review, your IP address.
- Blog comments: your name, your email address (not published), the content of your comment, your IP address.
- Blog post reactions (👍 ❤️ 💡): no personal data; a random anonymous identifier (cookie) is used only to prevent the same person from reacting more than once to the same article.
Why we collect this data
- to respond to your contact, quote, or appointment requests;
- to process your pre-registration for a real-estate program and contact you about it;
- to send you our newsletter, if you request it;
- to publish your review or comment, after moderation, if you choose to share it publicly;
- to keep the Site secure and prevent abuse (limiting the number of submissions per hour, remembering reactions already recorded).
We never sell or rent your data to third parties for commercial purposes.
Retention period
We keep contact, quote and pre-registration data for as long as necessary to process your request, and at most 3 years after your last contact with us, unless a longer legal retention period applies. Identity and land documents submitted as part of a pre-registration are kept for the duration of the relevant program's selection process, then deleted if no contractual relationship follows. You may request their deletion at any time (see "Your rights" below).
Who has access to your data
Your data is accessible only to authorized members of our administrative team, each according to the Site sections assigned to them: for example, only the person in charge of forms has access to pre-registration files, and only the person in charge of received requests sees contact messages. No data is shared with third parties except where legally required, or when you choose to contact us via WhatsApp yourself.
Security of your documents
Sensitive documents you submit (ID, land title, land plan) are stored in a private technical area of our server, not publicly accessible and never referenced by any page of the Site: they can only be viewed by an authorized team member, after a secure login to our back office, and downloaded one at a time from that protected area — never via a public link.
Cookies used
- site_lang (duration: 1 year): remembers your language choice (French/English).
- Technical session cookie (duration: your visit, or up to 2 hours if logged into the admin area): required for forms to work correctly (protection against automated submission) and, for our team, to stay logged into the back office.
- Anonymous blog reaction identifier (duration: 1 year): prevents the same person from stacking up multiple reactions on the same post; contains no identifiable personal data.
- promo_popup_seen (duration: 1 day, depending on the setting chosen by our team): avoids showing the same promotional pop-up more than once a day.
None of these cookies are used for advertising or profiling purposes.
Third-party analytics tools
As of the writing of this page, no third-party analytics tool (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) is active on this Site. Should our team activate one from the Site's admin area, this section would be updated to inform you of the data then collected by that third-party tool and your options.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, and delete data concerning you. To exercise this right, contact us via our contact form stating your request; we will respond within a reasonable time, after verifying your identity if necessary.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the Site or to applicable regulations.
